Before you start
- A HomeDesigns AI account and plan
- A scan or photo of your sketch: at least 512 x 512 pixels, no larger than 5 MB

Step-by-step: sketch to render
Step 1: Upload your sketch
Upload a photo or scan of your drawing. Crop out the desk, hands and paper edges.
Darken faint pencil lines with a pen or an editing app before uploading.
Step 2: Select the space type
Choose Interior, Exterior or Garden.
Step 3: Choose a design style
Click View All to browse 75+ styles and pick the one that matches your idea.
Step 4: Set the AI Intervention slider
Lower settings keep the render close to your sketch; higher settings let the AI make bolder design choices.
Step 5: Add instructions (optional)
Open Additional Instructions to name materials, colors or features, such as “stone facade, black window frames, wooden deck”.
