Step-by-step: 2D to 3D
Step 1: Prepare a clean plan
Export or scan the plan at a good resolution. Crop margins, title blocks and legends so only the plan remains.
A screenshot from a PDF is fine if the lines are sharp and the image is not stretched.
Step 2: Choose the floor plan tool
In the Interiors workspace, choose the 2D to 3D Floor Plan tool and, if offered, the output type (for example 3D rendered floor plan or furnished 3D model).
Step 3: Upload the plan
Upload your plan image.
Step 4: Generate
Click Generate New Designs. The tool converts the plan into a rendered 3D view with depth, lighting and finishes.
